Huay Mae Khamin waterfall during a time of more plentiful water. (Bangkok Post file photo)KANCHANABURI - Huay Mae Khamin in Si Sawat district, rated Thailand's second most beautiful waterfall, has been closed indefinitely because the water flow is down to a trickle. Huay Mae Khamin, a waterfall with seven tiers, is said to be exceeded in beauty only by the Erawan waterfall, also in Si Sawat district. The waterfall will remain closed until the weather and water flow return to normal, Mr Thiti said. Srinakarin Dam National Park remains open for other activities such as camping and lodging.
